Vicki Trimberger, through the use of alpacas in her seminar, will help you learn the correct way to show an alpaca.  Her techniques will help you improve your ability to showcase your animal to the judge in the best possible way.

 

This class is great for those who have never shown and those that have been showing for years.  This seminar is also great for older kids who want to learn how to enter the ring with confidence.  Don’t forget to Register!

Fleece Seminar: Saturday 10:00 AM         Free

Instructor: Holli Cox  (Hidden Hilltop Alpaca Ranch)

 

Don’t let that fleece sit in a bag once you shear your alpaca!  Let Holli demonstrate how to skirt it for either processing or fleece show competitions.  Fleece shows are becoming increasingly popular as it is another avenue to showcase your alpacas while getting valuable feedback about their fleece quality.  Holli will show you the steps for both Huacaya and Suri fleece skirting.  With her background in teaching, she will have plenty of  visuals and examples of skirted fleeces.  Handouts will be provided detailing skirting techniques and tips for getting the best score possible on your fleeces during competition and getting the most out of your fleece’s end products.

Holli will provide great ideas and way to get the most out of all the fleece from your beautiful alpacas.  This seminar will be about 1/2 hour long and will be full of demonstrations.
